Work has begun on Sola Salon Studios which will occupy the retail spaces along Terry Avenue. Sola has combined the roles of self-employed salon professional and salon owner and developed it into a concept that allows professionals more independence, privacy, and control over their own space. The Sola concept allows salon professionals to independently lease and manage their own studio within the total Sola Salon space allowing for a variety of salon/spa services at one convenient location. Hours are flexible and tailored to the business needs of the individual salon professional and the needs of their clients.

Sola Salon Studios’ mission is to provide high-quality, hip, individual salon space enabling salon professionals to successfully own and operate their businesses. They offer the salon professionals the ability to own their own business and control their work environment without the large capital requirement and associated risk of opening a traditional salon. Additionally, professionals can concentrate on servicing their clients versus managing other salon professionals.

Sola Salon Studios was founded in 2003 and currently has one other location in Washington at the 909 Elements apartment building in Bellevue.
