For Sushi Lovers at Aspira

April 15th, 2010 by admin

This article we found in The Stranger might spark your interest.

“If you love sushi and you live in Seattle, you’ve been a little lost lately. Saito closed his Belltown place last summer. Shiro isn’t at Shiro’s much anymore; he sold all but a minority interest a couple years ago. Even if you could afford it, Taichi Kitamura’s $100-per-person prix fixe at Chiso Kappo is gone, too (though said to be reopening on Eastlake this summer). Who will be your sushi superhero now?”

Sushi Dave, is a veteran of many excellent restaurants in the Seattle Area such as SeaStar, who was the caterer of our grand opening party in March. Dave’s a third generation sushi chef and I believe after reading this article that it’s not something to be missed.

Great Restaurants Near Aspira Apartments

February 23rd, 2010 by admin

The south lake union area near Apira apartments has some great dining options.  Located just a few blocks and within walking distance, on the corner of Westlake Ave and Denny Way, conveniently you have a Whole Foods grocery store, Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizza (which is an Apira favorite), Sea Star Seafood Restaurant and Raw bar, and many other great eats. If you are looking for a great resource, our concierge can provide directions to this area of the city or suggest many other highly rated restaurants for different tastes and price ranges.
