“White Stripes fans take note: A free viewing of a new DVD featuring the band, titled “Under Great White Northern Lights,” is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Seattle’s Crocodile, 2200 Second Ave., Seattle. It’s a 21-and-over event, and seating is limited.”

The Crocodile Cafe recently closed in 2007, but back by popular demand and by protesting music lovers, it’s back and newly remodeled.  Looks great inside.

Preview Chinese Films at the Central Library

Watch these free screenings of these movies this spring at the Central Library. The screenings are free and open to the public. Each featured film will be in Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles.  Limited parking will be available at the Central Library for 5$ but it’s actually in walking distance from our Aspira building. Pacific Northwest Ballet Announces return of “Cinderella”

In a statement released on Tuesday, the PNB announced they will return in 2010-11 with two full length ballets- “Cinderella” and “A Midsummer Nights Dream. ” The ballet is featured at the beautiful McCaw Hall near the Seattle Center.  For tickets and more information call 206-441-2424. Individual tickets go on sale in July.
