U.N.I.C.E.F Fundraiser at Neumos

Nearly 900 million people worldwide lack access to it drinkable water, nearly half of whom are children. The UNICEF Tap Project helps deliver clean water to people in developing countries.
The Clean Water Collective is an amalgam of Seattle bands, musicians, advertising, media, venues and music lovers who support world-wide access to clean drinking water.

Rock at the Croc

“White Stripes fans take note: A free viewing of a new DVD featuring the band, titled “Under Great White Northern Lights,” is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Seattle’s Crocodile, 2200 Second Ave., Seattle. It’s a 21-and-over event, and seating is limited.”

The Crocodile Cafe recently closed in 2007, but back by popular demand and by protesting music lovers, it’s back and newly remodeled. Looks great inside.

Spring into Spring

This Friday, March 19th, at Pike Place Market, the Market will be giving out 12,000 free dafodils (individually) to people who visit the market around lunch time. The specific time wasn’t specified but I’m guessing is around 12:00pm. The Pike Place Market is just a few blocks or a short taxi cab ride in the rain, from Aspira.

The annual event — dubbed Daffodil Day — is now in its 13th year.
